What is this:
This adapter is designed to convert a regular table tennis bat into a VR penhold adapter. I have also created a fully printable adapter based on @Wasyl's work. Take a look if you only have access to a 3D printer.
Why we made it:
Due to the Quest 3 controller's limited tracking mechanism, there are only a few penhold adapters available for it. This is another attempt to create an easy-to-print, free adapter that aims to improve weight distribution and LED tracking for TPB and RPB styles.
Who is involved:
The original model was created by @Wasyl00. The idea for the penhold position came from @Bonsaizocker. I completed the CAD work and other finishing touches. It has been tested with the help of @Bonsaizocker @vladejs and other members of the ETT community.
What is required:
(Some text is taken from the @wasyl's page. The Pic is from @Bonsaizocker)
- Table Tennis paddle, ideally some you will no longer use as you will have to cut it to shape.
- Printed adapter
- 1 x DIN653 Thumb Screw M3 (length 12-14mm) Link Aliexpress
- 2 x M3 countersunk head screws (length 12-14mm) Link Aliexpress
- 3 x M3 nuts Link Aliexpress
- Optional printed cutting template (included in files)
- Tools like saw and drill with 3mm drill bit. You can use wood glue to aditionally strengthen the connection.
- You can reuse old rubber or cut and apply new one
- Double-sided tape to apply rubber.
- Sandpaper to round off the edges.

How to print:

How to assemble:
Please watch the video provided by @Bonsaizocker. This adapter is made using a process similar to that used for the BonWasy adapter.
How to use:
If you are using the well-known BonWasy adapter, I assume that you already know how to use it. But if you are not, please watch this video. (will upload later)
ETT In-game setting:

There is no exact preset, as you can cut the blade to any size. However, you can tune it based on the following position (calibrated by @Bonsaizocker).
PADDLE->ADAPTERS->BonWasyBusaL→EQUIP
Lastly:
Feedback is welcome! We hope this contributes to the community and evolves through collaboration. Special thanks go to @Bonsaizocker for his boundless passion and dedication to the VR TT community! Thanks also to @Wasyl00 for his excellent design work!
