This stock took its inspiration from a real steel stock with the same initials. It is designed for use exclusively with Airsoft guns and NERF blasters. While the styling is very similar, it is far from a 1:1 copy.

The standard length buffer tube stocks print with about 116g of filament, including supports. Because this is a no hardware design, that means you can make this stock for under $2, depending on your filament cost.

Support is only necessary for the lever arm (and the n-strike version of the catch.) Everything assembles press-fit. Models are oriented in the proper printing direction. Yes, the lever is oriented and printed like that. You will need to enable supports on the model and not just the build plate. There should be enough clearance to allow 0.3mm layer heights and support distances. Print the spring in PETG.

Available Styles:

  • Standard “Mil-Spec” buffer tube catch spacing. This is for Worker buffer tubes, the GF Trion, and airsoft rifles.

  • Dart Zone buffer tube catch spacing, in both standard length and short.

  • NERF N-Strike Stock Attachment points (BETA release. Catch needs work) (More lengths coming soon)

  • Picatinny Rail stock attachment in two lengths (Coming Soon)

The N-Strike buffer tube was specifically designed with the Aeon Pro X in mind, and therefore has M4 clearance holes on the side to allow you to attach a sling point or screws to hold the stock on. I recommend using the screws because the catch on the n-strike attachment isn't as strong as I'd like. I've included a little locking wedge that can be used to keep the stock on in lieu of screws if you're not using this with the APX.

The “short” version of the Dart Zone stock is meant for the Maxim, Mk3 and Mk1.2 stocks, to maintain their original fully collapsed length. They can obviously be used on any buffer tube, they just won't be as long. This actually makes a nice “SBR” stock.

These are all fairly simple prints, as long as you have your supports dialed in for the lever. The N-Strike stock does have some modeled in supports that you will need to cut out.

Update 12/14/2025: Long N-Strike Stock and STEP files added.
