Pool Noodle Giant Nerf Dart V2 - NITROSHOT+ ULTRA

The Nitroshot+ Ultra is the second generation of my giant pool noodle darts! V2 brings more accuracy, more flight stability, and more realistic proportions! 

My design is built for 55mm diameter pool noodles cut to lengths of 125mm. The dart head and anti-burst sleeve should be printed in TPU, while the bamboo mold should be printed out of a heat resistant plastic like ABS or PETG.

Preparing the darts are quite simple! The pool noodle can be bambooed by putting them in the mold and left in a hot car for 1-2 days. The dart head has a small cavity in it that is meant to fit 2 pennies to correct the center of gravity. This can be done by inputting a pause layer in the slicer right before the cavity is printed over! Dart heads should also be printed with 1 wall and 3% gyroid infill for maximum squishiness. Dart heads should be attached to the pool noodle with high temp hot glue.

IMPORTANT: Make SURE to have these darts checked by your group for safety. While soft, these darts still very heavy and WILL leave bad bruises if shot close enough. These are designed for demonstration first and foremost, so make sure that these darts are approved by your group before playing.

-Cook darts in bamboo mold by leaving in a hot car
