Dove Nesting Box

Simple dove nesting box design.  It was designed with front bars/supports since doves are notoriously bad at building solid nests.  Doves also prefer to be covered so an extended shelter top was made and an extended landing platform.  Since the model will be outside, the model was printed with ASA to avoid damage from UV.

The model is appx. 262mm x 262mm x 280mm.  The model was printed with 2 wall loops and 15% infill to save on filament. The print, with supports, required 990g of filament, which was not cheap.  PETG could likely also be used. Obviously this model can be resized if needed.  My print was on a BL H2D which accommodated a large print size.
