Fox MTB Fork Cap Tool

This is a custom-designed workshop tool to open and close both the left and right caps of a FOX MTB suspension fork. It features a flat 28 mm socket on one side and a 32 mm socket on the other. Ideal for home mechanics and bike workshop use – no need for two separate tools anymore.

Print Settings (as tested):

Nozzle: 0.4 mm High Flow

Layer Height: 0.20 mm (STRUCT profile)

Walls: 5–6 perimeters

Infill: 50% Gyroid

Material: I recommend printing it in a strong filament like PETG, ABS, ASA, or even CF-reinforced filaments for higher durability.

It’s designed to be flat and easy to grip, with enough strength for regular maintenance. This tool has worked great for me with FOX 36 and 38 forks – check the cap size of your fork before use!
