Gardena Bottom Pump Elevator: Because Nobody Likes Sucking Dirt

So I got myself the Gardena 4700/2 pump (model 9025-29) and threw it straight into my rain barrel like a responsible adult. Only problem? It was sucking up more mud than water, like it was trying to drain a swamp instead of irrigate tomatoes.

Cue the 3D printer.

This simple but effective Pump Crown design clips onto the bottom of the Gardena pump and elevates it by 20mm — just enough to avoid the sludge layer while still keeping the intake submerged. It’s like a throne for your pump. Because your pump deserves better than sitting in literal dirt.

Printed in PETG for outdoor resilience, but feel free to experiment (and report when PLA melts). No supports needed. Prints flat. 100% gravity-compatible. Probably won't levitate, but your water quality will.
