Make bath time an adventure with this adorable starfish-shaped showerhead, designed specifically for little hands! Its lightweight and thin construction makes it comfortable for kids to hold, encouraging independence and fun.

I engineered this with a playful yet practical design. The star features wider nozzles to ensure a gentle, non-overpowering water stream, perfect for sensitive skin. Inside channeling guarantees an equal distribution of water from every nozzle, while the ridged handle promotes a more laminar flow for a pleasant and consistent shower experience.

Key Features:

  • Kid-Friendly Design: Fun starfish shape encourages engagement during bath time.
  • Comfortable & Lightweight: Easy for small hands to grip and hold.
  • Gentle Water Flow: Wider nozzles provide a soft, never too strong stream.
  • Even Water Distribution: Internal channeling ensures consistent flow from all nozzles.
  • Laminar Flow Handle: Ridged handle promotes a smooth and pleasant water flow.

Short Printing Guide

This showerhead is designed for reliable 3D printing. I recommend the following settings for optimal performance and durability:

  • Material: PETG is highly recommended for its water resistance and durability, making it ideal for a shower environment.
  • Walls/Perimeters: Print with 3-4 walls (or perimeters) to ensure robust construction and and prevent leaks. This is crucial for the internal channeling. For the handle, consider using fuzzy skin to improve grip and ergonomics.
  • Infill: A moderate infill (e.g., 20-30%) should be sufficient.
  • Supports: You'll need supports at least for the bottom starfish arms. Do not print internal supports.
  • Nozzle: Standard nozzle size (e.g., 0.4mm).
  • Layer Height: A layer height of 0.2mm to 0.25mm should work well for a good balance of detail and print time.

Remember to ensure good bed adhesion and proper temperature settings for PETG to achieve a strong, watertight print.
