This is a mixer I made for the deej volume control software. It uses 5 sliders which I find to be enough for all apps that I use.

It uses a Arduino Pro Micro. I wired the sliders to A0 - A3 and A6.

Everything is screwed together using m2x6mm bolts. I used ones that had very low profile heads so they were fairly flush with the front surface. The back panel screws into four m2x 3.2mm OD x 3mm L heat set threaded inserts.

Parts:

  • 14  m2x6mm low profile headed bolts (link)
  • 4  m2x 3.2mm OD x 3mm L heat set inserts (link)
  • 1  Arduino Pro Micro (link)
  • 5 B103 Linear slide potentiometers (link)

After printing the case, you need to cut through the sacrificial bridges in the screw holes for the bottom plate.

Wiring:

I wired the signal pins of the sliders to A0 - A3 and A6. The GND and 5v pins are all connected together and then connected to GND and 5v on the Pro Micro.

This is where the pins should be connected to.

This is a picture of the wiring. I tried using a piece of copper wire as a bus bar for GND but it might be easier to just connect each one the same way I did the VCC pin.
