This is quickly created roll of toilet paper model I created for use in various coach department cars at the Illinois Railway Museum.
The idea was to equip the bathrooms in exhibited cars for display, but not use a full roll of the real thing as people tend to steal and we also don't want people to actually use the display bathrooms.
The model was designed to be printed in sections so that supports and extensive infill are unnecessary. As the inside of the roll is a hollow space, it could be used for hiding a bluetooth beacon.
I chose to wrap a few wraps of real toilet paper around this model to make it look more realistic. This is an optional step for finishing this model.
This model can be constructed with or without the inner roll. Both options require printing Outer_Roll.stl and may be glued with CA glue if desired. If skipping the inner roll, print 2x of Side-no_roll.stl and skip the Inner_Roll.stl. If using the inner roll, print 2x Side-roll.stl and the Inner_Roll.stl.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
