Differences of the remix compared to the original:

  1. Added 40mm gap for cable management (specifically sized for IEC/kettle leads)
  2. Created 0.6mm deep recesses for double-sided tape application
  3. Modified bracket geometry to maintain strength while accommodating cable routing
  4. Retained original mounting hole positioning for backward compatibility

Printed in PETG on the A1 with these settings:

  • 0.18 mm initial layer height (to give it a little extra squish at the bottom on the A1)
  • 0.20 Layer Height
  • 30 mm/s initial layer speed
  • 6 wall loops
  • 5 top layers, 3 bottom layers
  • Sparse gyroid infill at 40%
  • Z-hop enabled (0.4 mm)

First layer looks great with these settings, strong brackets that can take a beating. Original model was spot on for strength, just needed a few tweaks for my specific use case. Using strong double-sided micro-suction tape in the slots, but you could just use screws too.

I think this would print out with no supports or brim, but I kept supports on just in case.
