The Pot of the Rings

Here it is! The Pot of the Rings!!! (epic music playing)

Just print a base, one top part and a lot of rings to combine them and customize your pot as many times as you want, it can be used for pencils, tools, clips, plants…

The base is available in several heights, I created prints from 30mm (3 rings) to 120mm (12 rings). Pick the one that better suits your purpose, I'm using one with 3 rings for the clips and one with 10 rings for the color pencils as you can see in the picture.

There is a standard base and a version with a hole in the base for drainage in case you want to use it as a planter (same heights).

The rings are 10mm high, they fit perfect on the base and spin freely once assembled because the base has 1 extra mm in height to allow it. For better spinning just pass the rings over a sandpaper a little bit to smooth the top and bottom surfaces.

Finally, screw in the top part, you can choose here from a simple big hole to a lid to use it as a box (that would be “The Box of the Rings!”), I added some top parts with dividers in case you prefer that option.

It is easy to print, no supports are needed, the layer height can be set to 0.3mm and infill to 0%.
