This model needs your help. I developed this model to make it easy and affordable to replace your Tenkara rod caps, but I'll need your help getting the size right for every rod.
This model is only sized correctly for one rod, the Nissin Zerosum Oni 395. The Cap has a 0.406" diameter which is ~0.020" wider than the hole it fits into.
If you can scale this to fit your rod, please upload it as a remix for others to use too!
It must be printed in a flexible material like TPU. I recommend using a TPU that's 90a or harder. You can make the plug stiffer by increasing the number of shell walls, and also by increasing the infill percentage.
Prints without supports.
Insert into the end of your rod. There should be enough resistance that the plug won't fall out on its own, but it should also go in easily enough as to not damage the rod.
Once you get the fit right, please share the details of your success on printables. Be sure to post your rod type, the scaled STL, your material, and the print setting. Make sure to upload it as a ‘remix’ (a modification of an existing file), so it will be linked to this page for others to find.

Added a flute along one side for line to run through. Makes it easier to put the cap on while line is still attached. Thanks @JackK_1129193 for the suggestion.
