The Hex Box - StackBox - prints flat!

Comfortably holds one 1kg spool of filament, with or without the box while keeping everything accessible at all times.

Stacks in horizontal and vertical orientation, comes with snap in place parts, to keep the stack aligned and in place securely, to eliminate the risk of boxes sliding off each other, once your tower grows.

Only flat prints with minimal overhangs / very short bridges, do not use any supports except for the StackLock double-snap (and potentially for the magnet-snap shell version).

There's two versions of the top / bottom plate, you only need 2 pcs total per box, the versions are intercompatible.

There's a tolerance test included at the very end of the files. 
150mm of the top and sides sliding dovetail. 

Short explanation of the snap-inserts:

• the StackLock single and double snap install from the outside. 
  Single snap will only snap into one box, double snap will snap into both boxes, for a more rigid tower. 
  Use at least one StackLock per layer of stacking. 
  For locking boxes to their neighbours I recommend using a double-snap, especially when stacking boxes in vertical orientation.
• The screw inserts install from the inside so they can't ever fall out and don't rely on being snapped in place.
• The magnet inserts also install from the inside, use strong magnets for magnetically mounting the box. 
  The solid magnet inserts doubles as a deco snap - use negative bodies in your slicer to print-in your magnets, take care not to overheat the magnets during the print.
• The DecoSnaps install from the outside, for adding a little colour to your HexBox :)

Can also be wall mounted, either with screws or magnets (do some testing, use strong magnets). 
For wall mounting I recommend using glue for the box (see reference pic where). The Screwhole center points are 30mm apart.
