Ikea Skadis mount for EZRip paper towel holder

Hi, 
I've designed some mounting plates to mount Ephy's EZRip paper towel holder onto a Ikea Skadis board. 

There are 4 variants of mounting plates.

• 2 mounting plates with 3 t-nut mounting holes, and
   
• 2 mounting plates with 2 t-nut mounting holes (a bit less stable).  

Each of the mounting plates can be printed in a slimmer and a thicker version. 

The slimmer version is designed to use two M4 x 10mm connecting screws per plate, while the thicker variant uses two M4 x 15mm connecting screws per plate.

Meaning, to be able to properly mount the paper towel holder onto a Ikea Skadis board, you will need the following hardware in addition to the EZRip hardware:

• 2 x printed mounting plates in equal thickness (they are rotateable, so there is no left or rigth side)
• 4 or 6 x M2, M2,5 or M3 x 15mm screws for the t-nut mounting system (number of screws = 2 x number of t-nut mounting holes of mounting plate choosen; same for number of nuts)
• 4 or 6 x M2, M2,5 or M3 t-nuts or printed t-nuts (e.g. these)
• 4 x M4 x 10mm or M4 x 15mm screws (e.g. ball head)
• 4 x M4 nuts

Tipps for installation:

• Pre-assemble each side of the EZRip paper towel holder without the mounting plates attached. Already add the rubber bands.
• Afterwards, install one mounting plate with inserted M4 nuts to the Skadis board and screw one side of the paper towel holder onto the board. 
• Use the length of your paper towel to locate potential skadis holes to mount the other mounting plate to. Important: you can rotate one or both mounting plates to gain / lose some additional space. 
• Install the second mounting plate to the Skdais board (also with M4 nuts inserted) and install the second pre-assembled half of the paper towel holder. 
• To install a paper towel, simply take out one of the two rolls, add the paper towel and put the roll back.
• To get the clamp tension right (so that you can rip paper towels single handedly), you might have to experiment with different rubber bands.

Original model cannot be mounted to a Ikea Skadis board.

This remix introduces mouting plates so that the paper towel hodler can be mounted to a Skadis board without damaging it.
