Introducing 3Dstuffy! 3D-printable models of stuffed animals.
When my 6-year-old daughter asked for 3D-printed versions of some of her favorite stuffed animal friends, I got to work on creating something that could match her expectations.
To get started with the basic geometry, I decided to try out the MakerWorld Image to 3D tool. I was really impressed with the results! I only had to do a minimal amount of tweaking and smoothing in Blender to bring out the details and make the model more printable.
To print the model, I used fuzzy skin to give it that stuffed animal texture. I am including a painted version of the model in the .3mf, but I don't have an AMS, so I can't actually test the colors. (The model in my images was hand-painted)
