Every time I get in my truck (2019 RAM Bighorn), I have to plug in the USB cable to my smartphone so I can use Android Auto. Some time ago, I got one of the magnetic couplers so I wouldn't have to actually insert the plug. I was still having to chase down the end of the USB cable and make the connection. I decided to print a little holder that is stuck to the front of the truck console and allows me to just plunk the phone down and give it a little nudge to the right. The magnetic coupler makes the connection and I'm good to go. You may need to adjust the height of the holder to suit your particular phone…mine is a Motorola G7 Optimo Maxx. I suggest Tinkercad to tune it up for your phone. My console required a bit of an angle for the little holder to align with the phone which is the reason it is tilted a bit. I suggest you print it “on end”. Yeah, I know things in cars printed from PLA won't hold up well, but PLA is what I had loaded and this is, after all, a prototype.
