Description

This 3D-printed enclosure allows you to add smart control to your Hunter Douglas / Luxaflex blinds using three smart switches, enabling wireless Open, Close, and Stop functionality.

Unlike the official setup, this design eliminates the need for the expensive Hunter Douglas Hub, saving you approx. €300—while still enabling Matter and Thread compatibility when used with a compatible smart home hub (e.g., Home Assistant, Apple Home, etc.).

Instruction

1. 3D Printing the Model
2. Insert the Hunter Douglas Remote: Ensure correct orientation so the buttons align properly (refer to the images for guidance).
3. Install the 3 Smart Switches
4. Insert Square Nuts for the Lid
5. Close the Enclosure

Info: 

• The three switches must be paired with a SwitchBot Hub
• In the SwitchBot app, assign each switch to the correct function (Open, Close, Stop).
• Make sure the correct channel/blind is selected on the remote before final assembly, as this determines which window the system will control
