The Pick Pocket: Guitar Pick & Dual Case

The set includes a durable 0.9mm thick guitar pick, ideal for live gigs 🤘, and a sleek holder designed to hold two such picks.

The primary feature is its convenience for performing musicians. The case is designed to be glued to the rear side of your guitar using double-sided tape. If you drop a pick mid-song, a fresh one is right there, easily grabbable with your thumb 👍, so you can keep playing without interruption. Of course, it's also slim enough to just slip into your pocket! 😉 This pick design has been road-tested and proven reliable during live performances by my Cruel Company bandmates. 🎶

Assembly & Usage: 🛠

1. Print the guitar pick and the container parts.
2. To mount on your guitar: Apply strong double-sided adhesive tape to the flat back surface of the container.
3. Carefully position and affix the container to the rear side of your guitar. Choose a spot where you can comfortably and quickly access the picks with your thumb (e.g., near the upper or lower bout, depending on your preference and playing style). ✅

Print Settings & Tips: ⚙

• Recommended Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS. Other materials may also work. 💡
• Layer Height: 0.1 mm
• Infill: The pick and container are quite slim. They will likely print with mostly perimeters and minimal to no actual infill. If your slicer does add infill, a standard 15-20% is fine, but it's not a critical setting for these parts.
• Supports:
  • Guitar Pick: No supports required. ✨
  • Dual Case: Supports are recommended (e.g., for any internal overhangs where the picks sit or for the opening) to help avoid stringing and achieve the cleanest possible print. 👍
• Seam Position: Aligned (This usually provides the neatest finish on flat surfaces).
• Print Surface: Using a textured PEI sheet or similar textured build plate is highly recommended for a professional look on the outward-facing surfaces. 😍
