Two versions of this design are shown; the first “Heart” is a PIP with no support featuring a small heat on a pedestal rising in the center of the goblet. the second in two parts - the goblet with a small wedge -shaped well in the center to accept the separate “open heart” piece.
I successfully printed these in both PLA and PETG (gcode provided for PLA) at 0.2 layer height and no support with the following exceptions; 1) the open heart is printed at 0.1 and support everywhere and the goblets were sliced with variable height for the last .5 mm (with ironing) for a smooth lip.
The open heart did require some finishing. carefully removing the support and then using a diamond file and 600 grit sandpaper to clean up rough areas.
One other note: I think the “heart” version would be a lovely way to present a ring to your sweetheart.
