Update – Improved design

After working on various other models and ideas, I learned a lot and decided to revisit and improve the original bracket design.

What’s New in Version 2:

  • Screw Mounting Slots: The brackets now include slots for screws to provide a stronger, more permanent mount.
  • Segmented Design for Strength: The model is now split into flat-oriented pieces, which improves print strength and reduces sag.
  • Modular Press-Fit Peg: The peg is now a separate press-fit piece.
  • VHB-Friendly Version: I’ve also included a version of the new brackets optimized for VHB tape, for those who prefer a no-drill mounting solution.
  • Original Model Included: The original design is still available for those who don’t mind the older setup or had success with it.

You’re no longer locked into a single orientation. You can rotate or mirror the peg and bracket to suit your setup.

While it's designed as a press-fit, I chose to glue mine for extra peace of mind.

Happy printing and may the Force be with you!
