Shoulder Stock for Buzzbee Monorail / Rail Raider Dartblaster

I recently found a good modguide on how to modify the magazin of the railraider/monorail to improve the reliability of the blaster with nerf elite darts. Since these are the only darts allowed for certain larp events, I never used this blaster before, because it jams a lot when using them. Now that I fixed this problem (after following this guide: https://imgur.com/a/improving-reliability-on-monorail-blaster-9Iqz1 ) I now wanted to add a stock to the blaster.

Warning :

first of all, you need to make sure that you want to permanently modify your blaster. You will have to open the blaster up, which is worth a separate guide. You can follow my guide in the (german) blasted.de forum. There are only a few videos on this topic and they are not that useful, so I decided to create my own guide. The blaster shell is clued together, so pay extra attention when removing the clear part… 

Hardware used: 

5 M3x30 screws 
8 M3x12 screws

M3x5x4 threaded inserts

some pipe with 15.5-16mm diameter, I used aluminum pipe that I also use as barrels.

Installation :

You will have to drill 4 holes into the backside of the grip. The best way to do it, is taking the front piece and mark the drill holes with a screwdriver, then open them up with a drill bit. Make sure they have the right diameter for your M3 screws and that the placement is correct, or your stock will not be straight. They don't have to be perfect, since the counterpiece inside the grip will hold the screw. So if the holes are wider than necessary, it doesn't matter too much. 

The counterpieces (fixplate1 and 2) will need 4x M3x5x4 threaded inserts. Make sure they sit straight or you will have trouble alligning the 4 screws. 

I glued in the counterpieces with some hot glue. Make sure they are positioned right. You can remove the grip insert pieces and then allign the counterpieces properly before glueing them. 

When everything is fixed and cooled down, you can add the grip insert pieces again. 

The middle part can be slid over the front part and is connected to it with a 30mm m3 screw. It also needs 5 threaded inserts. One to hold the connecting screw to the front piece and 4 to fixate the pipe. If you unscrew them, you can adjust the length of the stock. The backpiece also has 4 heat inserts and the pipe is held in place with 4 screws, too. You can drill a hole into the pipe if you want to make absolutely sure that the pipe won't losen itself, but for me it was enough to just tighten all 4 screws. Since there a usually no pulling forces on this part, this should be enough.

If you decide to install the chin rest, you'll need additional threaded inserts to attach both pieces to the stock. I used M3x12 screws.
