This pyxis was inspired by an ancient Greek pottery form. It was designed to be functional and decorative as a candy dish or box for small items. The open pattern in the lid means that it even serves well as a lantern (remember - PLA is flammable, so LED lights only!)
PLEASE NOTE: This print requires supports! You may use any material or multi-tool printer that you wish to provide the supports and the color.
For your convenience, I have included the slicer files for the MK4S / MMU3 combo for a small pyxis (75% size). The materials that I used were Overture Rock and Matte PLA for the main body of the pot and lid, and Polymaker PETG for the support. The slicer files use the MMS settings as described here.
While you do not have to use the multi-material support option, the advantage is that the supports break away cleanly from the model with no deformity or mess, and that the supported surface is smooth as if it were printed on the build plate.
There is also a single color version that can be printed without an MMU, using standard supports (found in the NO MMU folder).
Happy printing!
