The stock 25 mm heatsink fan on Qidi x-Smart printers is too small for the task. As a result, the hot end suffers from heat creep and clogs all too often.
This adapter lets you fit a 30 mm fan to the x-Smart heatsink and includes a duct that directs airflow around it for much better cooling. I printed mine with PETG. You also need 2 x M2.5x6 bolts, readily available on Amazon.
Since installing it, I’ve been running prints for months without a single head clog.
