Tires for Trenchy – Flexible TPU Treads for Your Mini Truck

These tires were made to fit the Wheel-less Trenchy remix, part of the open-source #3DTrenchy benchmark project.

They've been printed successfully using flexible materials like TPU and TPE, and may work with other materials depending on your printer setup. Fit may vary slightly depending on slicer settings and material shrinkage, so expect to tweak things if needed.

This release includes a variety of tread styles—slicks, off-road, experimental patterns—and is meant to be a jumping-off point. The designs are fully remixable, and the OpenSCAD source code is included for anyone who wants to create their own styles or adjust dimensions for different builds.

You might notice in the photos that some of my prints show a bit of stringing—flexible filaments can be tricky. I’m still dialing in the settings myself, and I welcome tips, feedback, and remixes from others working with similar materials. Whether you're testing your printer’s flex filament performance or just want to give your Trenchy some new shoes, this set is a work-in-progress platform to build on.
