Remix of several Dune Imperium: Uprising inserts to work with the original version of the base game. It seems most people have likely moved on to the newer version, so this is my attempt to backport and merge some great existing concepts.
Everything supports sleeved cards, including the larger leader cards after some easy trimming. No room was planned for expansions as that need has already been covered very well by the rest of the community. There is some room for smaller bits, however, such as the custom alliance tokens as seen in my photos.
Print and setup instructions:
- Print one of everything except for the Card Rails and Player Tray.
- Player Tray can be printed 4x in player-coordinated colors.
- Card Rails recommendation is 1x long rail, 2x short rails, 2x 45-degree corner and 1x 90-degree corner.
- The card rails are entirely optional and modular, but do help keep the leader tray in place when stored.
- Resource Trays and Card Rails rely on 5x2 magnets. The former uses the middle and top layers as “lids” when stored.
- All parts can be printed in single color, but several are also intended for multi-color printing if wanted.
- Most printed parts will go on the table during setup, but a few remain in the box:
- Top layer of the resource tray
- Leader tray
- Sandworm holders
- Any unused card rails or corner pieces
- Starting deck can be included with each player tray thanks to the optional Card Bracket.
- Top level of the resource trays can fit additional parts; I use it for custom alliance and high council tokens.
- Player trays have a special slot for a custom Revealed flag which can be flipped to easily inform other players of your status.
