LOVE this design. Rawnei killed it. I just wanted the flap to be a bit wider and i added some weight to the opposite side to lessen the chance of it getting pulled up in the tire when i hit a bump.

FROM RAWNEI'S DESCRIPTION (it works just the same) ----
2024-10-11: Major re-design of this extender, it is now friction fit instead of using double sided tape which makes it less prone to coming off by accident, print as oriented in the STL and use brim (important) supports are not needed. Clean and use a small dab of silicone to really secure it in place.
A fender extender for the Lynx and the Sherman S.
The fender/mudguard on the Lynx and Sherman S is pretty good but there is ample of room where water and dirt can still spray up on the rider and also on anyone behind the wheel, this extender is designed to prevent that.
This fender extender is designed to be friction fit over the original mudguard, you simply slide it on there.
Print in TPU95A so that it is flexible, it needs to be able to bend if it hits something, print as it is oriented in the STL, supports are not needed but using brim is crucial.
After printing use a sharp knife to remove the brim and just make sure it doesn't cover the middle where the original fender goes in.
Also added an optional plug for the 3 arrows holes on the fender where dirt and water can normally sip out (not necessary on the Lynx, they are already plugged those from factory).
For securing this extender extra good you can clean the bottom of the mudguard and put a small dab of silicone on there to hold it securely in place.

It's important that you print this in flexible material so that it can bend if it needs to, also important to use brim.
The author remixed this model.
Made the flap wider and added another ‘weight’ to the back side to better suit my Sherman L
