With its geometric diamond pattern, this vase showcases a striking, modern aesthetic. The triangular texture creates a captivating, almost jewel-like quality that transforms any spot. Whether displayed on a side table or nestled in a cabinet, this vase serves as a stunning focal point. Its distinctive texture and spherical form make it a conversation piece even without flowers, adding interest to your interior.
Designed for vase mode printing, it can be 3D printed quickly using larger layer heights and widths, resulting in a durable object.
Dimensions: 7,8 x 20 cm
Print time: 2 - 4 hours
Resizable: yes, in your slicer.
3D Model type: SOLID body (not hollow inside, specifically designed for vase mode)
Printing technique: FDM / FFF-only
File type: STL
Recommended materials: PLA, PETG
Recommended slicer: Prusaslicer, Cura, Simplify3D
Print difficulty: easy
Recommended nozzle diameter and print settings
For sturdy vase mode prints, a larger nozzle (0.8mm+) and thicker extrusion lines (1.0mm+) are recommended. This combination creates a strong, single-walled structure that compensates for the lack of multiple walls and infill.
Slicer setting: vase mode / spiralize outer contours ENABLED
Nozzle diameter: 0.8mm, 1mm, or larger
Bottom layers: 8
Perimeter speed range: 15 - 30 mm/s
Layer height range: 0.2 mm - 0.5 mm
Extrusion width / wall thickness range: 1mm, 1.2mm or 1.4mm+
Watertight?: is possible, but experimental: print hotter than usual (+10 degrees), use a low layer height and lower print speed for improved layer adhesion.
