This model is a counterweight for dovetail bars adhering to the GP standard. It can be used to balance for example front-loaded newtonian telescopes with heavy imaging equipment.
The dimensions are chosen to fit 10.5 x 30 mm metal washer discs for the weight. Fully populated, this counterweight will have ~ 1kg of mass.
Additional materials needed:
2 x M5 heat inserts for the two screws which fix the counterweight on the dovetail bar
4 x M3 heat inserts for installing the lid
The printed parts in the picture are printed from ABS-GF with 0.2 mm layer height, 4 walls and 5 top/bottom layers for increased stiffness.
