A skeleton mod for the HyperX Saga - it may not look pretty but it gets the job done.
Full print weighs approx 11g, if you choose to run it wired this gives a mouse weight of 26g, otherwise it is 34g with the battery.
Currently still on V1 - I'm hoping to rework it into a single/two piece model with some other dimension tweaks in the future. Note that some filing/trimming may be required for clearances.
PCB model is included if you wish to design your own chassis around it. It won't be perfect as it was done with a set of calipers.
Recommended print orientation in photos.
Scroll supports and thumb buttons use the black flat topped screws such as the one used to hold down the scroll LED board in the original product. The hex screws are used to hold the board to the chassis. Washers will be required, but I used 1mm thick scrap from old projects so no model is provided.
The screw used for the scroll supports is screwed down into the chassis, so make sure the end is covered with some tape to prevent it from shredding your mousepad. I have used 2 layers of painters tape that has held up well - especially given the extra clearance from adding the PTFE feet.
Note some cushioning on either side of the board may be needed to prevent flex when squeezing with thumb and fingers, visible as the white padding, but your mileage may vary.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
