Cerulean Surveyor 240 MBES Scratch Protector

When the Cerulean Surveyor 240 MBES is mounted to the BlueBoat with it's 3D printed housing, its transducer face is facing very close to the floor surface, this risks the sensor face to get scratches during handling of the BlueBoat. When the BlueBoat is folded and stored in the back of a car, the Surveyor 240 MBES is bulging on top… with other luggages on top of the BlueBoat, this setting also risks the Surveyor 240 MBES transducer face to get scratches.

The Scratch Protector's main function is to protect the Surveyor 240 MBES open transducer face from scratces, and so that a BlueBoat with a Surveyor 240 MBES can be more durable during handling and transport.

It is designed around the Surveyor 240 MBES housing. The Scratch protector has 4 pegs that would align with the MBES using the 4x M5 holes on the bottom of the housing, and then the two arms of the scratch protector would bend and then clamp to the two round shapes of the MBES housing.

We were using BambuLab X1 Carbon when printing this model, with Sunlu PETG (15% infill & 0.2 layer height) and some tree support + outer brim… printed in ~ 2+ hours.
