PDF

Clarus, the dogcow, irreverent mascot of Apple Developer Technical Support of the pre OS X days. She says “Moof!” Breaking free from the Z key of the Cairo font, she lurks around the page setup dialog. She does flips and precision bitmap alignment. Now she can lurk around your desk or your refrigerator.

Comes in four versions: with and without the border, with and without voids for captive magnets up to 8x3mm.

Set printer to 0.20mm layer height. Print in background color A (preferably white), pause to insert magnets if using, resume color A, change to foreground color B (preferably black) and possibly decrease layer hight for better detail on the text, et voila, you have your very own piece of Macintosh history.

Example shown in luminous and black.

Stay tuned for other nostalgic icons from the days when macOS was known simply as “System” and color hadn't yet been invented. They can be found here.
