Intro

This measuring cup was designed as a sturdier and better alternative to the standard rice cup that comes with most rice cookers.

Cups follow the Japanese Gō standard (1合 = 180 ml), which is different from the U.S. cup (236.6 ml or 8 fluid ounces).

How to use

To get the stated measurement, use only the inner volume as shown in the photo.

If you fill the cup to the top, it holds 1 + 1/4 cups. Which is the recommended amount of water for 1 cup of long-grain white rice, according to brands like Zojirushi and Yum Asia.

Features:

  • Semi-spherical bottom – rice falls off fast and doesn't get stuck in the corners at the bottom;

  • Stackable – the smaller cup fits inside the bigger one;

  • Two measures in one – The rice amount and the water amount in the same cup;

Sizes:

Available in both 1 cup (180 ml) and ½ cup (90 ml) sizes.
