Toolless Picatinny Fore Grip

Update 2025-06-10: I had a couple failures actually after testing in several games. Changes

• Increased thickness around the picatinny area
• Made the grip shorter to reduce amount of torque you can apply. (also now more compact)

This is a sturdy toolless fore grip for picatinny rails. I use this for nerf for pumping springers. In the screw cap is an 8-32 nut socket designed for the Lynx blaster plunger to help put on the nylocks.

Print settings:

Try 10 walls 25% infill. It's important that the area near the picatinny is solid.

Included is my bambu studio plate with the fuzzy skin modifier already enabled.

Adding fuzzy skin for extra grip in bambu studio:

Add in the foregrip body, it should be upright.
Right click→ Add modifier→ Load. and select the fuzzy skin modifier stl
 

Select the fuzzy skin object on the left side, and enable fuzzy skin → contours

Lay it down on its flat side for printing

Skin should now be shown in the Preview pane

I used this custom 3d printed thread profile from https://github.com/dans98/Fusion-360-FDM-threads which makes some really nice threads designed for 3d printing.
