A simple bumper for keeping your records even in a Kallax/Expedit shelf without them falling out the back.
Everything is mechanically the same as the original. Print one of each model to make a whole bumper. Join the two halves with short lengths of 1.75mm filament. Sanding the mating faces is prudent, especially if you'll be bonding them with 3D Gloop like I did. The filament holes can be reamed out with a 1.5mm hex key if they're a bit too snug. I used two sided gel mounting tape to secure them to the shelves.
The author remixed this model.
I liked ProbablyNotIan's concept in the original upload, but I wasn't comfortable with a print that was mostly overhangs running off in overheated PETG. I ripped the major dimensions out of the slicer and started modelling from scratch, but still wanted to give credit in a remix. Having the ribs enclosed should make them easier to clean in theory, even though they'll primarily be out of sight. This model takes slightly longer to print, using slightly more filament with identical settings, but bumping the infill down to 10% closed up the difference. Nonetheless, printing the two sides sequentially makes it a bit more painless if you've got multiple sets to run off.
