SEGA Dreamcast - GDemu modular mounting bracket

This bracket was designed for the GDemu, the one I had was the recent release from AliExpress, please let me know if it doesn't fit yours and I can adjust the base as required!

It's designed as modular system, and the intention had been to make something easy printable along with a simple install (without additional hardware as much as possible)! Everything should be printed flat, and if your printer is calibrated correctly doesn't need supports.

I sorted everything into sub-folders for clarity.

Printing

You need to print both the “GDEmu_BaseMount” and a “GDemu_LidSwitch” for both versions.

Disk Drive Cover

Depending on whether you want to use an SD extender, you need to print the models from the “Top (SD Extender)” subfolder. The “Top (Blank)” subfolder is for when you don't need to access the SD card. I would highly recommend using the SD extended version here though!

Assembly

Place the GDemu on the BaseMount, aligning the pins in the screwholes (if you have a standoff on there, you'll no longer need this!). 

Next insert the GDemu on the connector for the Disk drive - this should secure and align the base.

SD only: If you use an SD extender, insert the extension and fold the cable underneath the GDemu. Insert the SD slot through the hole in the Topmount, and then snap it into the SD-Holder. This can then be pressed (firm, it's intentionally a little oversized!) back into the Topmount.

You can now click the TopMount (Blank or SD) into the BaseMount. The lidswitch falls into place from the top (and is loose in there, so don't open the cover and hold it upside down, it will fly off).

Close that beauty back up, and you're all done. Enjoy!
