Quick Release System for 1/4'' Camera Adapters

Phil's original Quick Release System is awesome! Thanks for including the CAD files. I adjusted the connectors to fit threaded inserts for 1/4'' camera connectors. The mechanism just needed a few fix and release cycles to get super smooth and still lock tightly. In addition, I sprayed some Teflon on it to reduce friction.

All parts print without support. The inserts have 20x12.7mm outer dimensions and are inserted into the 3D print using a solder iron.

I use the quick release system with multiple top parts in several locations to install one baby monitor camera (with the bottom part) in a quick and easy way. Due to this camera's female thread, I use another spacer to fit and cover a male-to-male adapter. I have it in use for about 100 days now and the camera gets swapped two to three times a day using the quick release system. No wearing until now, which is remarkable for a 3D-printed connection.
