Dimensions: Length 345.7mm, width 161mm, 278mm (w/ 15mm feet)
Supports Mini-ITX and mATX motherboards, 325mm GPU, 135mm CPU cooler and SFX PSU (SFX-l with 260mm GPU).
Now with a parametric design, input your GPU length (>323mm )and CPU cooler height (>134) (make sure max dimensions can fit on printer) and the CAD will do the rest!
Designed For a 256x256mm bed size, Clearances used are 0.1mm or greater. For the parametric model a calculation is included for the bed size needed (ignores the bottom fan mount since it requires 256mm regardless).
Features:
- Toolless panels, all panels are designed to be attached magnetically and can easily be taken apart for easier assembly and maintenance. The front panel can be held together with friction however magnet holes are available if necessary.
- Invertibility, along with the easier assembly of toolless panels this case can easily be inverted, all you need to do is take off the panels (and fans if installed) and rotate the frame! (without a pc inside takes less than 30 seconds)
- Small form factor, At only 15.5L (14.6 without feet) this is extremely small for an mATX PC case, liberate your desk space with this compact case.
- 3D cad model, the fusion 360 model is included, this means you can easily customise this case! Due to the internal frame and easily swappable outer panels, this means you can easily personalise your pc case!
- Parametric design added, now you can adjust the size of the case to fit your components, This includes adjustability for PCIE slots, GPU clearance and CPU cooler height, 9.9l+
Filament (total ~ 1.5kg filament)
- Frame ASA, ABS (high temperature resistance, PETG CF is the best option without an enclosure)
- Panels PLA (not critical to heat, recommended Smooth PEI (or similar) to achieve the surface finish shown in pictures)
Parts:
- M3x12mm
- M3x8mm
- M3x6mm
- M3x4mm (3d Printable glued in alternative available)
- Thin M3 square nut (5.3 x 5.3 x 1.8 mm)
- 6mm female to female m3 standoff (these are attached via 6mm M3 bolts)
- Super Glue
- 5x1mm Magnets (n35 preferably, extra magnet holes provided for weaker magnets)
- C14 to C13 Extension cord 45-60cm with 21mm height (from PSU) (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001457012537.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.23.2e4b1802SEpL4v )
- GPU, Motherboard and PSU screws
Power button:
The power button was designed for keyboard switches and an optional hot-swap socket. Wire, DuPont connectors and a switch are needed. The CAD file is available if a different power button is wanted.
If using an mATX motherboard with bottom 120mm fans, I recommend printing this: https://www.printables.com/model/1354608-90-degree-female-dupont-connector-for-motherboard
The tight radius needed for the cable can cause interference and move the pins, which is less of an issue with the parametric design; however, it is still recommended.
Notes:
- For ASA and ABS, I recommend slowing down the model significantly to avoid warping. I lowered speeds to around a quarter of the usual speeds, as well as preheating the chamber for an hour.
- The motherboard tray has multiple options in the CAD file, if the default (1.5mm stiffener) has compatibility issues, use the no stiffener design instead. (not applicable for parametric model)
- Multiple Front panel options are included, while printable on a 256x256mm bed, quality issues have been encountered (Rounded, Side intakes and Ribbed) are still a WIP.
- Most triangular holes in the design are to easily self-tap M3 bolts.
- Most bolts should sit flush and not protrude
- STLs are for original design currently, I personally recommend downloading the parametric CAD model for the most capable version of this case.
- This is the case I use for my PC at home, and it works well, as such improvements and extra features will be added; there are plans for increased SATA SSD mounting positions and different front panel options.
