MK4 Y motor holder for MK3(S(+))

Motor holder from the MK4, adapted for use with the MK3.

This part is based on the MK4 design and has been modified to fit the MK3. It offers improved strength and stability compared to the original MK3 holder.

I adjusted the height of the holder to fit the MK3 bed (added 2 mm). I also removed a protrusion that was preventing the bed from completing its full travel.
 

Use (3) M3x18 screws for mounting to the motor, and (2) M3x10 screws (As the previous version) for mounting to the frame. ( (3) M3x20 might also work, but I haven’t tested it).

Recommended settings:

Material: PETG recommended (or ABS, ASA, PC …)

Infill: 20–60%

Supports: No

Layer height: 0.25mm / 0.20mm / 0.15mm
