The clippy buckle thing on my NewBeeDrone lanyard was too big, so I removed it entirely and made this so I could use it. Integrates the lanyard more directly into the radio, in my mind.

Probably works best with lanyards with quick-release buckles!

You will need:

  • 1x M2 8mm.
  • 1x M2 20-25mm

Then:

  1. Print both sides flat out of PETG or similar. Add a little bit of support for the lanyard “rod” only. ~0.2mm, 4 wall loops, and 100% infill recommended.
  2. Fit each part through your lanyard first so that they just about meet up.
  3. Rotate into place where the radio's lanyard holder is. Might need a bit of pushing and clicking to get everything to “snap” into place.
  4. Secure the clip with the two screws.
