This is a replacement carriage for the Sovol SV06 and SV06 Plus printers. It is designed for:
The Cartographer mount posts are a little too short on purpose. You can print a shim to get your Cartographer z-offset just right. Take the shim attached here and scale it on the z-axis to get the correct shim height.
I tried my best to set this up to print easily. It will need organic supports. I suggest that you check the box for “support base on base plate only” in your support settings.
The SV06 and SV06 use the same carriage “front”. The back of the carriage is different for the larger rod and bearing size of the SV06 Plus.
Maybe this works on Ace models, maybe not. I don't have one of those, so I don't know.
You will need one M2.5 threaded insert and a few M3 threaded inserts. Various lengths of M3 machine screws.
For best results you will need to remove the threads on the stepper motor's mounting holes (convert the threaded holes to unthreaded through-holes).
The printer with the gray parts is my SV06 Plus. The printer with green parts is my regular SV06.
