Infill Cover for IKEA Vappeby Bluetooth Speaker

This speaker cover is specifically designed for the IKEA Vappeby Bluetooth Speaker (Gen 3). It not only provides protection agains babyfingers ;) but also adds an aesthetic touch to your home. The cover is printed without bottom and top layers, so only the infill is visible, get wild and use the modifiers in your slicer (I used Prusa Slicer for that)

 

Slice the Model: Use your slicing software to prepare the model for printing. Ensure that the bottom and top layers are set to zero to achieve the desired infill pattern.
 

I added cylinders with modified infill of 15% to the corners to give the mounting-pins more support.

Above the speakers I increased the infill to 10% otherwise the rest is 5% gyroid infill

 

Customization: Feel free to adjust the infill percentage and pattern to match your personal style. When selecting the infill pattern, make sure it is self-supporting, such as a honeycomb or gyroid pattern, to ensure structural integrity.
Just get crazy and design your own cover.
