This replacement part connects the handle with the body of the vacuum cleaner socket (see the grey part in the real world picture). It's designed after the real world part (which broke on my vacuum cleaner) and has been improved for easier printing and durability.
I've printed it with PETG as it offers better flexibility than PLA. It probably also works when printed with PLA, but might break fast(er) as PLA is brittle. The replacement part was designed with the real dimensions, so keep your printers accuracy and filaments shrink factor in mind.
Assemble the upper handle first (with the replacement part in place) and then "snap" it into the vacuum cleaner socket part. It should "snap" in with a medium push. I've removed the original fins on purpose.
I've used an infill of 40% for durability. It might also work with more or less infill.
The print warped a bit on my printer (so maybe add a brim or raft), which wasn't too bad as the whole vacuum cleaner isn't designed very accurately.
