I needed a light to go into my wardrobe cabinet I use for all my 3d printing stuff.
Didn't want to buy one and I had all the stuff so I made this to fill that need.

This is a touch activated 12V light, Its very bright and works great.

Printing/ Instructions

Supports: Yes

Resolution: Yes

Material: Yes

I printed it face down in PLA using PETG as a support interface. This allows for absolute perfect overhangs. But to be honest, the overhang part wont be visible anyway cause the lights will block it. :)

The mounting holes are 3mm. I used 2 M2 3x8 self tapping wood screws

  1. Print the thing ;)
  2. Fish the wires for the two lights into the holes
  3. Press the lights down into the SQUARE HOLE. Its a press fit so lightly sand the edges of the lights if needed.
  4. Fish the Power jack wires through the 12 mm hole but don't mount the jack
  5. add the nut for the jack over the wires but don't screw it in. You'll need some space first.
  6. de-solder the original touch sensor wires if desired. (I did)
  7. Solder the lights and the power jack to the touch sensor
  8. Press the sensor into the 20MM circular recess below the jack hole. It's also a press fit. Sand if needed.
  9. Carefully mount the jack and screw on the nut.
  10. Test
  11. Mount
  12. Marvel at what you made

Any questions ask away

I'd like to see your makes  :)
