Horse / Riding Horse (DND / TTRPG)

Here are some simple horse models and a riding horse variants with a baseplate spot for a 25mm minifigure.

Updates:

• May 19 2025 - added a second horse model with some extra sculpting on its hair with textured brushes and a detached tail. Still a fairly simple model otherwise with a walking / turning pose. Also includes the riding variants.

I see a lot of really popular post with fancy/realistic renders and not test prints so I'm trying that out (but also doing test prints).

This was made with AI using my usual process to thicken up the model. The AI output had the hooves curled up so I had to resculpt them (they're not great). Additionally I rigged and posed this model and sculpted more like the tail/mane, added eyes etc...

Test prints done on FDM using a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.08mm layer height. Print quality is pretty good. They're a bit thicker than the MZ4250 horses I already have but and the support scarring on their bellies is annoying (someone more adept than me could probably clean these up better) but they're pretty sturdy. Overall very happy with the results.
