Since all commercially available pill boxes were either too small, too large or too ugly where I live, I designed my own. It has a compartment for every day of the week and is specifically dimensioned to fit food supplement pills (~23 x 8mm) and can hold a maximum of 10 of those per compartment.
A divider is included to separate pills for different times of day and it can be placed individually.
The main version has an open lid where a clear plastic sheet with up to 0.8mm thickness can be glued in, so it's easier to see if pills are still inside. The lids are already labelled (german or english), but there's also an unlabelled version available.
If you don't need any of this or want to print the while thing in clear filament, there's also a file for a solid lid.
The files are optimized to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle @ 0.44mm line width. It's of course not mandatory, though.
It's recommended to use PETG and print all parts at 0.2mm or finer resolution for the joints and latches to work properly.
If you chose the open lids, cut 24x40mm sheets from the material of your choice for each compartment and use superglue to attach them to the lid from below.
Slightly bend the back of the lid, so the ball joints seperate a little and then push it onto the corresponding joint of the container. The joints have a rather tight fit, so they stay open on their own.
Mine is printed on a modified Prusa i3 Mk3 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height in Prusament PETG terracotta.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
