Introduction

This is a substitute for an arcade button.  I purposely design some of my arcade stick enclosures with too many button holes – for more options.  I use these to fill any empty 24mm holes.  I designed them to be quite robust, so they can take a good amount of torque.

I've only used this plugs on my CHAMELEON panels, which are ~3mm thick at the install area.  But, I think they should accommodate up to a 6mm thick panel.

It comes with 3 parts: a plug, a ring, and a wrench.

Future Changes

  • May make a 30mm version – if there is a demand for it.
  • May make a slightly longer version for thicker panels.

Printing Suggestions

  • 4 Walls / 20% Cubic Infill / No Supports
  • Orientation should be self-explanatory – all flat faces towards the build plate.
  • Only tested in PLA/PLA+, but other materials should work.
  • Recommend scaling the X and Y axes to 101% in your slicer for the RING for an easier fit.  Not entirely necessary though, if your printer is accurate enough.
  • You may need to make adjustments based on the tolerances of your printer

Assembly

  1. Insert the PLUG into the hole.
  2. Screw the RING around the threading of the PLUG.
  3. Fully tighten with the WRENCH.

Happy Printing!
