An elderly relative had a new shower fitted some months ago, but brand not marked anywhere and plumber inexplicably can't remember which one he fitted, hahahahaha!

Anyway, the issue is that the silly little tab on the knob simply isn't big enough to grip when hands are wet, especially if they're also soapy.

This cover, which I printed in Eryone Clear Shore 95 TPU with no supports, slips over the existing knob (press button on knob to allow cover to pass over it), and clicks into place over the silly little tab. Adds so much extra leverage that even arthritic hands ought to be able to turn the knob.

This was intended as a first prototype, so I printed it with 0.28mm layers, 3 bottom layers, 15% lines for infill, and 30mm/sec speed, and a 2-line skirt just for a clean nozzle, but it fitted so perfectly it wasn't necessary to make any mods at all :o)  Unmodified default print settings were 3 walls and 5 top layers.

The existing knob is nominally 40mm diameter although I measured it at 40.75mm. The button is 9.5mm diameter and its centre is 17mm from the flat face of the knob . The tab is 8.3mm wide, 22mm long, and sticks out 4.45mm from the knob. So if yours matches this, then the cover should fit.

Hope this helps someone else with the same problem!
