This bullet-shaped ring holder, modeled after the .308 Winchester caliber.

Model Features

  • True to scale .308 Win design
  • Flexible assembly:
    • Got an empty .308 win cartridge case? Just print the bullet and the stand, then slide them together with no glue needed
    • No case? No problem. Print the entire model — cartridge and all — in one go.
  • Designed to be printed in multiple colors even with a single-color printer. (printing info below)
  • Bonus heart edition: Includes a bullet with a heart motif for a more playful or brutally romantic touch. Use inlay printing to create a standout heart — print it separately and glue it into the main bullet.

Leave the comment if you want the holder in another caliber, I'll see what I can do.

Printing info

Supports are not required.

1. full ammo.stl

Ideal if you don’t have a real .308 Win cartridge case.

Complete bullet including the cartridge and bullet tip in one piece.

For multi-colored printing, add a color change at layer 257 if using 0.20 mm layer height in your slicer. This allows you to print the cartridge and bullet tip in different colors on a single-extruder printer.

2. just bullet.stl

Use this file and not “full ammo.stl” if you have a real empty .308 Win cartridge case — the printed bullet is designed to fit snugly inside.

3. stand.stl

The base stand that holds the assembled ring holder upright. Compatible with both the fully printed cartridge or a real cartridge case.

4. inlay - *.stl files

These versions feature a heart inlay design.

The heart and bullet are separate parts, allowing you to print each in a different color and glue them together.
