Vivosun (and other brand) tent 9.4'' x 3.9'' Pre-filter to 4" Air Vent Conversion

This is just a simple design that turns your grow tent's 9.4'' x 3.9'' Pre-filter Air Vents into a 4" inline style vent with 90 degree elbow. Perfect for pulling in air through tubing instead of the broad  9.4'' x 3.9'' Pre-filter Air Vent ((shown below) image credit from vivosun.com).

This was specifically designed for the Vivosun grow tent I use but can be used for any tent with the same size vent. The vent opening is the  9.4'' x 3.9'' but accounting for the added coverage for the existing velcro on the tent it comes out to 11" x 4.5" (actual print dimensions). 

This solves the issue of the smaller tents such as the 2x2's not having 4" or 6" inlets at the bottom of the tent like they do at the top. This will also allow the tent to build negative pressure if that's what you're after.

My printer has a 256mm height limitation so it has two pieces. Simply super glue the extension on then get some velcro to secure it to the velcro that's already on the tent! 

Print it face down with tree supports (shown below). That way its stronger and less likely to break when using hose clamps.
