Same as the previous version MK1.
The handle consists of 2 printable parts: “HandleMainpartMK2” and
“HandlePresserMK2”.
They join together with 3 pieces M3x10 bolts + 2 standard washers and a nut for each.
See the 3rd included part named “HandleSeat”. That is a small section of
the handle intended as a test print for your printer setup. It should print a
precise cutout for the saw blade to fit in. If it doesn't, you will need to
modify the model or tweak the scale or other settings.
I measured the seat using Tactix brand saw and haven't checked the
tolerances against other manufacturers saw blades.
I intended to use ASA filament for this and the “Presser” part and gripping
end of the “Mainpart” should be printed with 100% infill. You can use
modifiers to set less infill further away from the tip.
The author remixed this model.
Added safety features after community suggestions. Solution to prevent hand injury by losing the grip and sliding the hand onto the blade.
